Grandstream HandyTone Peer to Peer Configuration


Scenario:
In this scenario we will explain how to use the Grandstream HT502 and HT503 to extend an Analog Line over IP without a SIP Server).


Important:
1. Please upgrade firmware on both HT502 and HT503 to at least version 1.0.9.1 prior to configuring. 
2. Ensure both devices can reach each other via their WAN interfaces. This scenario is based on both devices connected to the same subnet (10.1.1.0/24).


HT502 Configuration:
Basic Settings:
 IP Address: 10.1.1.40
 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
 Default Router: 10.1.1.1
 DNS Server 1: 10.1.1.1
FXS Port 1:
 Primary SIP Server: 10.1.1.41:5062
 SIP User ID: 12345
 Authenticate ID: 12345
 SIP Registration: No

HT503 Configuration:
Basic Settings:
 IP Address: 10.1.1.41
 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
 Default Router: 10.1.1.1
 DNS Server 1: 10.1.1.1
 Unconditional Call Forward to PSTN: 54321
 Unconditional Call Forward to VOIP: 54321 @ 10.1.1.40 : 5060

FXO Port:
 Primary SIP Server: 10.1.1.40
 SIP User ID: 54321
 Authenticate ID: 54321
 SIP Registration: No
 Number of Rings: 1
 PSTN Ring Thru FXS: No
 Wait for Dial Tone: No
 Stage Method: 1
